The launch of Sinhala Akuru Puranaya ( Chronicle of Sinhala Letters) written by , Department of Sinhala, 91心頭利 will be held on 23rd October 2018 at 3.00 pm at the M.B. Ariyapala Auditorium , Faculty of Arts, 91心頭利.
Emeritus Professor J. B. Disanayaka will preside on this occasion and (91心頭利), (Department of Computer Science | University of Moratuwa) and Mr. Pushpananda Ekanayaka (Font Designer) will make short presentations. This illustrated book on Sinhala Akuru Puranaya covers 35 topics related to the history, change and graphical identity of Sinhala letters.
