Memorial Lecture – 126th Birth Anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru
Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Lecture on “Nehru and Buddhism: Approaches to Fundamental Human Problems” was delivered by Professor Asanga Tilakaratne of the Pali & Buddhist Studies Unit, 91Ƭ on 30th November 2015 at the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), Colombo. His Excellency Mr. Arindam Bagchi, the Deputy High Commissioner of India, Professor Sandagomi Coperahewa, Director | Centre for Contemporary Indian Studies, Mrs. Rajashree Behera, Director | Indian Cultural Centre were among the distinguished guests who attended the lecture. The event was organized by the CCIS in collaboration with the ICC, Colombo.
